Job Description

  • Reports to Director of Operations and Risk;
  • Provide legal advice and support to the different departments and projects of the company;
  • Provide legal advice on labour and employment law matters;
  • Drafting and negotiating simple and complex contracts;
  • Preparing legal letters, agreements for partnership, etc.;
  • Advising on general business law issues and managing the legal issues of all areas of the company;
  • Review and analyze tenders in which the company participates;
  • Research and analyze laws and regulations applicable to the business;
  • Drafting and vetting of Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA), if any;
  • Management of business contracts;
  • Studying contracts and legal documents to make sure that it is in the organization’s interests;
  • Provide support during audits, inspections or interactions with authorities;
  • Review proposal legislation, assess impact and keep the business informed, including by preparing and providing training if and when appropriate;
  • Documenting and keeping all the legal documents securely;
  • Keeping up with current changes on all relevant areas of laws and contributing to the enhancement of the knowledge base of the company’s legal function;

    Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree;
  • Proficiency in English and Khmer;
  • 2+ years relevant experience in corporate laws practice or any other legal related practice;
  • Ability to work autonomously and find solutions to problems;
  • A faster learner and willing to take on new challenges;

  • Comfortable with highly dynamic and high uncertainty environments;
  • Excellent communication skills;
